ORONA has a research centre Orona eic (Elevator Innovation Centre), which employs over 150 engineers.

A shared objective: research and development of intelligent and safe transport systems that are more energy and socially efficient and better integrated into buildings.

Net0lift Project

  • Strategic research project to develop highly sustainable elevation systems (lifts, platforms, moving walkways and urban mobility systems)
  • Sustainability from three perspectives: environmental, social and financial
  • Net0lift is an initiative by a consortium of 12 companies led by ORONA
  • Collaboration from various public and private organisations
  • Project duration: 4 years
  • Approximate budget: 27.5 million Euros
