Elevator Innovation Centre (Centro de Innovación en Elevación)

There are more than 150 engineers working at ORONA's research centre, Orona eic.

Their common goal: research and development for intelligent and safe transport systems that are better integrated into buildings and which feature increased energy and social efficiencies.

The Net0Lift Project

  • A research project that is strategic in nature, for developing elevator systems (elevators, platforms, moving walkways, and urban mobility systems) with a higher level of sustainability
  • Sustainability from three points of view: environmental, social, and economic
  • Net0Lift is an initiative carried out by a consortium made up of 12 companies and led by ORONA
  • A collaboration among various public and private entities
  • Duration of the project: 4 years
  • Estimated Budget: 27.5 million euros

To achieve these ambitious goals we have also established collaborative relations with universities and technology centres at the national and international levels, generating synergies and new working guidelines for the sector.
